Legislator Deb Cody will not be seeking re-election in the 5th District. The caucus is grateful for everything she has done for Onondaga County in the 9 years serving her constituents and the Legislature.

“The Republican Caucus is diverse and uniquely qualified to represent all county residents,” says Majority Leader May. “Kevin is a small business owner, Colleen has decades of town and county government experience, Julie is a leader on environmental issues, Shawn is a neighborhood advocate, Dave is a Veteran and farmer, Mark is a lifelong member of the Fayetteville Fire Department, Rich served as Deputy Sheriff for over 20 years, Ken has generational government knowledge, and Cody is a medical health professional. Our team brings a lot to the table.”

“This entire group is committed to hard work and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely,” said Chairman Burtis. “Congratulations to all of these deserving individuals for earning the endorsement.”
